2008 KRLT Field Day: Get to Know Your Forests
Saturday, May 31: 8:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend our 2008 KRLT Field Day, which is planned in partnership with the Community Forestry Resource Center! Come to any of our 4 learning stations, including Become a Birder; Help your Forests Recover; Life Beneath the Trees, and Sustainably Manage Your Woodlands. Learn about invasive species and how to remove them, learn what make a healthy forest floor, identify spring wildflowers, and learn to identify some of the wonderful bird species which nest, migrate, or inhabitat the watershed.
