The Kinnickinnic River Land Trust (KRLT) recognizes the region through which the Kinnickinnic River flows is the shared ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe and the Dakota Nations and Tribal Communities. As an organization dedicated to conserve the beauty and health of the watershed, we declare a standing commitment to act as conscientious stewards of these lands and waters in a manner that honors and respects those who originally tended them.
